Mr. Kenneth Dale Murr , age 55 , of Knoxville, passed away Friday morning, March 20, 2015 at U.T. Hospital in Knoxville.
Mr. Murr was preceded in death by his father Arlie Murr and grandmother Selma Murr .
He is survived by his wife Kim D. Holt of Newport; Children Brandon Murr and Kenneth Murr both of Knoxville; grandchildren Hannah Montanaro of Newport, Evan Murr and Darren Murr both of Mascot; mother Faye Melton and step father Harry Melton both of Newport; sisters Sharon Smallwood (Terry) of Greenback, Debbie Murr McGaha of Newport and brother Brian Murr of Cosby. Additional survivors include his former wife and the mother of his children Renee Smith of Mascot and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday afternoon, March 23, 2015, in the Costner-Maloy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Scotty Gorrell officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 p.m. Monday afternoon prior to the service at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home.
