Loy, Harold E. – age 77 of Knoxville passed away Thursday, October 9, 2014, after a short illness. Preceded in death by mother and father, Orcie Loy Myers and Edgar Loy; brothers, Kenneth and Wayne Loy. Survived by wife, Charlotte; brothers, Rev. Delmar (Paula) Loy, J.D. (Carolyn) Loy; step-children, Robbie (Sharon) Troutt and Terri Rutherford; grandchildren, Amanda (Andy) Oglesby, Justin (Teona) Rutherford, James (Annissa) Troutt, Hugh (Linda), and Brandi Troutt; special granddaughter, Briley Hensley; great grandchildren, Traven Carter, Benton and Carter Rutherford, Bo, Blaine, Blakely, Brinlee, Grace, and Audrey Troutt; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Leroy Humphrey and Handy Kaiser. Family and friends will meet 10:45 AM on Tuesday, October 14, 2014, at Lynnhurst Cemetery for an 11:00 AM graveside service with Rev. Elbert Kitts officiating. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM Monday at Bridges Funeral Home, 5430 Rutledge Pike, 865-523-4999.
