She was a member of First Baptist Church, Sevierville and was formerly employed by A.J. King Lumber Co. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Albert Clinton, parents, Bruce and Golden Proffitt, brothers, Lonas, Creed and Dale Proffitt, and daughter-in-law, Marjorie Clinton. Survivors: Sons: Paul Clinton and friend Pam Overton, Ronnie and Laura Sue Clinton Grandchildren: Hope McGill, Cindy Meadows, Timothy Clinton, Jana Merritt, Beth Myers, Rebekah Clinton 18 great grandchildren 12 great-great grandchildren Brother and sister-in-law: Donald and Charlotte Proffitt Sisters: Varnell Proffitt, Nadine Oakley Special thanks to caregivers and staff at Pigeon Forge Care and Rehabilitation.
