Lisa Carol Pickens, age 47 of Sevierville, Tennessee, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 16, 2015 surrounded by her loving friends and family.
Lisa was married 30 years to the love of her life, Benny Pickens and was a loving mother to her two boys. Lisa was an Administrative Assistant with First Baptist Church, Sevierville. She enjoyed hiking and loved spending time with friends and family. She will be remembered as a wonderful, kind and giving lady with a beautiful smile and a warm heart.
She is preceded in death by her niece, Christi Moore.
She is survived by her husband, Benny Pickens; sons, Chad (Dana) Pickens, and Bryce Pickens; mother, Faye Wilson; father, Ruben (Belinda) Wilson; mother and father-in-law, Bobbie and Jimmy Pickens; grandmother-in-law, Josephine (Gigi) Helton; sisters, Norma (Rick) Hardin, Tammy (Frank) Webb, Kim (Jimmy) Moore, Meghan (Chase) Nicely; brother-in-law, Robert (Christine) Pickens; nephews and nieces, Rev. Rickey (Amanda) Hardin, Nicholas and Kendra Webb, Alex Moore, Kellie (Taylor) Stiles and great-niece Emma Stiles.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Lisa Pickens Memorial Fund at any branch of Smartbank or Citizens National Bank.
Pallbearers will be Nick Webb, Alex Moore, Robert Pickens, Will Allen, Dave Fuson, and Zach Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Sevierville Fire Department.
The family will receive friends 4-6:45 PM Wednesday with funeral service to begin at 7 PM at First Baptist Church, Sevierville. Rev. Jerry Hyder and Rev. Scott Andrews will officiate.
