OWNBY, SARA - age 85 of Knoxville, passed away Friday, July 13, 2007 at Baptist West Hospital. Sara was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Aaron and Renna Webb Ownby; sisters, Evelyn Ownby Duncan, Doris Ownby Barbee; brothers, Cecil, Webb, Howard, and Newton Ownby. Left to cherish her memory: brother, Ralph Ownby and wife Dorothy of Knoxville; sister, Thelma Ownby Hughes of Alaska; sisters In-law, Dorothea Ownby and Hazel Ownby; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 17, 2007 from 1:00 to 2:30p.m. and re-gather at Edgewood Cemetery for a graveside service at 3:00p.m. with Dr Terry Kirby officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rocky Hill Baptist Church. Highland Memorial Park, Funeral, and Cremation (Bearden) 588-0567 is honored to serve the Ownby family.
