Doloris was born January 20, 1940, to the late Robert and Lorine Brown in Alcoa, Tenn. She joined Bethel Baptist Church at the age 14. Doloris worked as a CNA in Pittsburgh, Pa. for many years and enjoyed taking care of the elderly and children. She was preceded in death by son, Kenneth Moore; and brother, Jimmie Brown . She leaves to cherish her memories: sisters and brothers-in-law, Ora L. McAfee, Madison Heights, Mich., Lorine and Herbert Mauldin , Cleveland, Ohio, Lucille Brown , Alcoa, Tenn. and Rose Mary and Jerry Hall, Alcoa, Tenn.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Elizabeth Brown , Fairfax, Va., Leonard and Lilli Brown , Alcoa, Tenn. and Larry Brown , Nashville, Tenn.; great-aunt, Eva Mapp, Knoxville; aunts, Amanda Ferrell and Lee Alford; cousins, Mrs. Mimmie Montgomery, Clidie Manuel, Evelina Woods, Emma Love, Tyrone, Nathaniel, and Mary Butler and Preston Ferrell; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; special friends, Homer and Shelita Walker. Funeral service will be held Monday, December 6, 1999, at 3 p.m. at Foothills Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Cordell Simpson delivering the eulogy. Interment to follow at Cedarlawn Cemetery.
