Johnnie Ann Scarbrough - age 64 of Lenoir City passed away September 9, 2011 at her home. Johnnie was a nursing assistant with Baptist Health Care Center for 22 years and volunteered at Loudon Hospital and the Battered Women’s Shelter for several years. She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Scarbrough; parents, John Bowman Bivens and Margaret Ruth Thomas Bivens. She is survived by her sons, William “Bill” Scarbrough and wife, Angela, John Scarbrough and wife, Kim all of Lenoir City; grandchildren, Dale Patrick Scarbrough and Rebecca Pierpoint; step grandchildren, Chris Baker and Ashley Baker; brother, John Bivens and wife, Janie of Loudon; several nieces and nephews, and special friend, Donna Williams. The family would like to express a special thanks to Dr. Patel, East Tennessee Home Health, Nurse Ann with Hospice, Carol Harp, all the volunteers at Ft. Loudoun Medical Center and her many friends. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Sunday and Monday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Vernon Glandon, Rev. Bob Blankenship, and Rev. George Seay officiating. Burial will follow in the Loudon County Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers: David Grindstaff, Rodney Simpson, David Haynes, Bo Grubb, Jonathan Sarten, Dr. B. Patel and Jason Vanderwoude. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or East Tennessee Children’s Hospital in Knoxville. Click Funeral Home, Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements.
