  [S4] Knoxville News-Sentinel (Tennessee), 24 Oct 2011. REAGAN, CLYDE PAUL - age 93, died peacefully surrounded by his family on October 22, 2011. Preceded in death by his parents, West and Maude Franklin Reagan; infant son, Terry Franklin Reagan; sisters, Hazel Reagan Ford, Kate Reagan Wade; brothers, Clint L. Reagan and twin brother, Chell P. Reagan. Mr. Reagan is survived by his wife, Helen Moody Reagan and three children: Clint H. Reagan (Peggy), Lynn Reagan Samuels (Ron), and Jeff A. Reagan. He also leaves behind three grandchildren: Whitney Musser (Matthew), Erin Reagan and Cooper Samuels (Kendall). In addition, he leaves two great grandsons: Walker and Hunter Musser plus nieces and nephews and sister-in-laws, Helen G. Reagan and Annie Lou Reagan. He was born in the mountains of Sevier County, TN and grew up in nearby Knoxville. Clyde and his twin brother Chell had beautiful singing voices. They could be heard singing in church and at local events while they were growing up. He retired from Federated Stores in 1986 to pursue his other passion, golf. Clyde and Helen moved to Nashville after they retired and both were active members of Bellevue Presbyterian Church. Clyde could be heard singing there on most Sundays. He took pride in his singing and was happy to sing at church events and funerals. He was a proud veteran of World War II serving three years with distinction in the Army Air Corps in Sioux Falls, SD where he flew P-40 fighter planes and conducted training for new pilots. The discipline and patriotism he learned in the Air Corps helped to shape him into a fine gentleman, as friends and family attest. A special thanks to Dr. David Jarvis and his wonderful staff. Visitation will be held 12 noon, Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at Berry Funeral Home, Knoxville, TN with graveside services to follow 1 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at Bellevue Presbyterian Church in Nashville, TN on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to service.
