Cara Lea VanDyke Harmon, age 14, of Maryville, passed away Sunday, November 5, 2006 at UT Medical Center after a tragic car accident. She was preceded in death by Woodrow Sparks, Laura Cooper Sparks, John Hatcher, Betty Beans-Ford, Charles Ford, Jesse "Bud" Harmon, and Eva Davis. She is survived by her mother and step father, Karen VanDyke and Marty Bright of Maryville; father and step-mother, Donnie Ray and Denise Harmon of Maryville; sister, Crystal VanDyke of Maryville; brother, Tommy VanDyke of Maryville; step-brother, Christopher Potten of Maryville; great-grandmother, Ganelle Head; grandfather and grandmother, Tommy and Florence Hatcher; great grandmother, Pearl Harmon; grandparents, James Jack and Anna Ruth Harmon all of Maryville; aunts and uncles, Ray and Suzanne Anderson, William and Sharon Breede, Mary Ann Hatcher, Charlotte Turner; several other aunts and uncles and cousins all of Maryville; and many very special friends. Funeral service will be 8:00 PM Thursday, November 9, 2006 at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Ronald Morton officiating. Family and friends will meet at 2:00 PM Friday, November 10, 2006 at Sparks Family Cemetery for the interment service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville. (www.millerfuneralhome.org)
