JACOBS , JULIA EVA age 94 of Knoxville, passed away Monday, February 22, 2010. Mrs. Jacobs was a member of Fairview Baptist Church for over 42 years. Preceded in death by her husband of 72 years Robert F. Jacobs ; parents Millard Plemons and Mary Lovins Plemons; son Donald W. Jacobs ; brother Dewey Plemons; sisters Ruth Plemons, Mae Boling, Ada Mulligan, and Alice Powell. Survivors include her children Gilbert Jacobs and wife Virginia, Bobby Jacobs and wife Peggy, Omica (Mickey) Lane Morton, Faye Pratt and husband Arnold, Terry Jacobs and wife Melodie, Denise Corum and husband Steve; 17 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren; brother John Plemons; sister Laura Kate Brown; and a host of nieces and nephews. The grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The Jacobs family will receive friends Thursday, February 25, 2010 from 5-7pm in the Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel, Funeral services will follow at 7pm with Rev. Bryan Wright and Rev. Clyde Lakin officiating. Family and friends will meet Friday at 10am in the Lynnhurst Chapel to proceed to Greenwood Cemetery for an 11 AM interment service.
