Jenkins, Lucille – age 94 of Powell passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2013. Member of Faith United Methodist Church and a 50 year member of the Powell Order of the Eastern Star. Preceded in death by husband, Herman “ Cotton” Jenkins; parents, John and Eva Holloway; and sister, Mary Peters. Survived by sons, Tony Jenkins and wife Henrietta, and Jack Jenkins and wife Jeanette; grandchildren, Stacey Helton (Eddie), Amy Williams (Tony), Jerry Jenkins (Christy), and James Jenkins (Amy); great grandchildren, Gracey, Abby, and Maggie Jenkins, Anna and Caleb Jenkins, Kanon and Brody Williams, and Anniston Helton; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Carl and Kathryn Jenkins. Special thanks to caregivers of the main floor at Beverly Park Place. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 AM on Saturday, January 26, 2013, at Woodhaven Cemetery for an 11:00 AM graveside service with Dr. Paul Humphrey officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Faith United Methodist Church, 1120 Dry Gap Pike, Knoxville, TN 37918. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday at Bridges Funeral Home, 5430 Rutledge Pike, 865-523-4999.
