He was of the Baptist Faith. Preceded in death by wife, Dorothy Bryant; parents, John Russell and Sally Mae Williams Myers; sister, Gladys Wallace, Elizabeth and Ima Jean; brother, Lloyd Myers. Survived by sisters, Annie M. Ott, Doris Patrick and Christine Valentine; brother, Roy L. Myers; step-daughter, Connie Moody; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 7:00 PM Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Beecher Whitehead officiating. Family and friends will meet 1:00 PM Thursday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
