Gladys M. Cureton Belcher, 91, of Alcoa, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Kindred Nursing Facility at Fairpark. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where she was an active member of the choir, and sang duet’s with her beautiful alto voice on many occasions. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; parents, Stella and Lewis Cureton; brother, Donald Cureton; and sister, Dorothy Myers. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael “Mike” and Joanna Belcher; son, Daniel Belcher; grandchildren, Jimmy Belcher and wife, Stephanie; Jaime Belcher Johnson and husband, Brock, Nick Belcher and Shane Belcher and wife, Katie; great-grandchildren, Trey, Jared, Bryce, Adan and Drake Belcher, Jackson and Elizabeth Donald; step-great-grandchildren, Brynlee, Baylor and Braydon Johnson; and several nieces; also Special friend and angel, Ann Sawyer. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Calvary Baptist Church Building Fund, PO Box 309 Alcoa, TN 37701. Graveside service and interment will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Rev. Charlie McNutt officiating. Family and friends may call at their convenience from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM Monday and 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
