She leaves behind, her daughter, Stephanie Cunningham and son In Law Tom Cunningham, Her son Hal Watson Jr. and daughter In Law Janice Watson, and her son Bryan Watson and Son in Law Dan Hurst of Miami FL. She leaves her three grandchildren, Hal Watson III, Roger Watson and Sarah Cunningham. She also leaves behind her brother-in-law Michael Watson and wife Karen, sister-in-law, Wanda Watson, and several nieces and nephews. Judy was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Hal Watson Sr. Mother & Father, Ralph Bryan and Dorothy Mae (Foster) Thomas. Also preceded in death by her sister, June M (Thomas) Cooper and husband Robert of McDonough GA., and brother-in-law, David Neil Watson. Judy was a 1962 graduate of Rule High School, an avid Vol Fan, and a Majorette. Judy was a member of Knob Creek Baptist Church, she loved going on picnics in the mountains, painting, scrapbooking, crocheting, and working puzzles. She loved her family which she unselfishly put before herself. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 23rd, 2016 from 5-7pm at Atchley Funeral Home Seymour. The funeral will be held on Saturday, September 24th, 2016 at 11 AM in Atchley's Seymour Chapel with Reverend Terry Parton officiating, followed with the procession to Knob Creek Baptist Cemetery for the graveside services.
