Survived by daughters and sons in law, Helen and John Long, Faye and Arthur Turner; sons, Jerry and David Spencer , Frankie Knight; sons and daughters in law, Bobby and Susie Knight, and Jacky and Margie Spencer ; several grandchildren; great grandchildren; brother, James Kirkland; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services 1 p.m. Saturday at the Gospel Church 1249 Delware Ave. Knoxville, Tenn. with Rev. Terry Gaylor and Pastor Joe F. Harris officiating. Interment to follow in Marble Hill Church of God Cemetery. Body will lie in state 1 hr. before service at the church. Arrangements by Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel.
