LINK , GEORGE M., JR. age 70, of Vonore, passed away 6:25 a.m. Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at his home. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1955 to 1959. He was a member of Vonore Baptist Church. Preceded in death by first wife, Clemma Patton Link ; parents George M. Link , Sr. and Lydia Link . Survivors: wife, Mary Emma Link ; daughter, Sharon Renee Racsko, Vonore; son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Diane Link , Lenoir City; step-daughter, Kim Mason, Harriman; grandchildren, Elizabeth Racsko, Nicholas Racsko, of Vonore; Travis Smith; great-grandchildren, Isaiah Johnson, Caitlyn Johnson, all of Lenoir City; sister, Esther Phillippi, Egg Harbor Township, N.J.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Rev. James and Bertha Patton, Sweetwater; several nieces and nephews. Funeral 7:00 p.m. Friday, Biereley-Hale Chapel, Rev. Tony Collins officiating. Interment 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 1, 2008 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Citico. Memorials may be made to Vonore Baptist Church Building Fund. Family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Friday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
