(February 7, 1925 - November 1, 2015) Paul “Pete” Broome, age 90, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2015 at U.T. Medical Center. He was a member of Armona Baptist Church in Alcoa and was a longtime employee of the Ford dealerships in Maryville and Alcoa. Preceded in death by his parents, Nathaniel and Lou Rana Tilley Broome; son, Jeffrey L. Broome and brothers, John Broome and Doyle Broome. Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Frances L. Broome; nieces, Kathy Dixon and husband, John, Margaret Ray and husband, Edwin and Gail Barnard and husband, Tommy; nephews, Doyle Broome and wife, Jeanie, David Broome and wife, Barbara and Dwight Broome and wife, Patsy. Special thanks to Armona Baptist Church family for all their help and support. Funeral service will be held 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Miller Funeral Home Cedar Chapel, Rev. Bob Larson officiating. Family and friends will meet 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Grandview Cemetery for the graveside service and interment.
