Wallace A., was born October 10, 1902 in Celeste, Texas. He died August 16, 1992 in Oklahoma Veterans Center in Sulphur, Oklahoma. He was a bus driver for 41 years with Southwestern Trailways and Oklahoma Transportation Company. He was a U.S. Naval Seabee serving in the Aleutian Islands during World War II. He belonged to Masonic Lodge Number 36 in Oklahoma City. He was a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church and belonged to the Beacon Class. He is survived by Pauline Shields, his wife of 47 years; his daughter and son-in-law, Mozelle and Joe K. Brand of Oklahoma City; his granddaughter and her family, Paula and Larry Wolfe, Justin and Kevin, of Charlotte, North Carolina; another granddaughter and her family, Kathy and Dr. Tim Moore, Adam and Jenny of Stroud, Oklahoma. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at St. Lukes United Methodist Church. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Cemetery. BILL MERRITT BETHANY
