KEE, MARGARET ELIZABETH - 92, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday January 14, 2015. She was a longtime member of Island Home Baptist Church. Margaret gave her life to Christ at the age of 12 at Valley Grove Baptist Church where she later served as secretary. She retired as secretary to the superintendent of Knoxville City Schools. Margaret was a member of the Singing Seniors of the John T. O'Connor Center. She was also a Past Matron of Chilhowee OES Chapter 450. Margaret was a beloved wife, mother, Mamaw/grandmother, sister and aunt. She was preceded in death by husband of 52 years, Wallace W. Kee Sr.; parents, Mark and Lillie Johnson; daughter-in-law, Cathy Kee; brother and sister-in-law, Carter and Evelyn Johnson; and brother-in-law, Lindsay F. Johnson Jr. She is survived by son, Wallace W. Kee Jr.; grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Scott and Tami Kee; great granddaughters, Mikayla Faith, Arianna Noelle, Olivia Grace, and Abigail Hope; sister, Doris Johnson; sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie and Floyd (Frosty) Johnson; nieces and nephews, Sandi, Cheri, Becky, Floyd, Sabrina, Gail, Angie, Bill, Carter, and Jeff. A special thanks to her niece, Becky Monday, for her loving care. Family will receive friends Monday, January 19th, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway, with Service to follow at 7:00 p.m. officiated by Pastor Lewis Miller. Family and friends will gather at Island Home Baptist Church Cemetery for interment Tuesday, January 20th, at 2:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Island Home Baptist Church, 2323 Island Home Ave., Knoxville, TN 37920 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105.
