Virginia Ann (Ross) Patty, age 66 of Friendsville went to her heavenly rest on Sunday, December 28, 2014. She was a devoted wife, homemaker, mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her son, James “Jamey” Patty; parents, James and Mintie Ross; parents-in-law, Ralph and Georgia Patty, and brother-in-law, Lowery Patty. Survivors include her husband of 46 years, John Patty; daughter and son-in-law, Jeanne and Paul Shelton; sons and daughters-in-law, John Patty, Jr., Jeffrey and Tina Patty, Joseph “Joey” and Jessica Patty, Jeremy and Brooke Patty, and Jason and Kari Patty; grandchildren, Raylee, Levi, Kaylie, Nolan, Colton, Jameson, Carter, Owen, Eli, and Will; devoted sister and caregiver, Wanda Smith; brother-in-law, Kenneth Smith; brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Alice Ross, William and Margaret Ross, Louise Shockley, Brenda McCall, and Gladys McNeilly, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service 8:00 PM Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel Rev. Jordan Davis officiating. Graveside and interment will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday at Marble Hill Cemetery.
