PATTY , GEORGIA BELLE BRYAN age 78 of Friendsville, went to be with the Lord at 2:33 p.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2003 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a charter member of Marble Hill Missionary Baptist Church where she served 50 years of faithful service as Sunday School teacher, Bible School Director and Treasurer. She was loved by all who knew her and the witness of her life directed many to know the Lord Jesus Christ. She was married to Ralph V. Patty for 59 years until his death January 25, 2000. She was the daughter of Rufus and Ethel Bryan of Knox County. Preceded in death: by husband, Ralph Vernon Patty son, Lowery Franklin Patty grandson, James Samuel Patty great grandson, Johnathon Wesley Fee parents, Rufus and Ethel Bryan son in law, Johnny Max McNeilly. Survivors include: daughters and sons-in-law, Louise and Gene Shockley of Greenback, Brenda and Stanley McCall of Friendsville, Gladys McNeilly of Greenback, June and Bill Ross of Friendsville son and daughter-in-law, J.W. and Virginia Patty of Friendsville 18 grandchildren 17 great grandchildren sisters, Mildred Pruett of Knoxville, Billie Shope of Farragut, Ruby Roulette of Maryville, Shirley Wright of Maryville and Jane Crye of Maryville brother, Fred D. Bryan of Nashville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 24, 2003 at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Obie Campbell, Rev. Earl Taylor and Rev. Bill Ross officiating. Interment 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Marble Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
