Survivors: daughters and sons-in-law, Lorene and Elbert Russell, Sue and Willie Williams, all of Vonore, Linda and Jimmy Yates, Greenback, Jena Myers, Madisonville, Debbie Shirk and boyfriend, James Sammons of Maryville; son and daughter-in-law, Jody and Tracy Gentry , Madisonville; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; sister, Martha Tipton, Vonore; several nieces and nephews; step-children, Shirley Daily, Louise Fannin, Charles Cook, Melvin Cook, Billy Ballentine, Jeretta Ballentine, Ray Ballentine, Lillian Ballentine. Preceded in death by wives, Gertie Moore Gentry , Mickey Ballentine Gentry . Funeral 2 p.m. Friday, Biereley-Hale Chapel, Rev. Robert D. Moore officiating. Interment Mt. Zion Cemetery.
