Louise is survived by her daughter, Shalba Andrade Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Manuel A. Casillas Jr. Brentwood, TN, Marlena Hentz Smyrna, TN, Michael Cook San Bernadino, CA, Kim Cook Las Vegas, NV; brother, Melvin Cook Vonore, TN; eight great grandchildren ages ranging from one month to seventeen years old. Louise was born on February 23, 1938 in Maryville, TN to George Cook and Girtie Moore. She married Boyd Fannin, after many years of courtship. Louise was a devoted house wife for the most part of her life. She spent endless hours caring for her family; ensuring chores were done and dinner was on the table. After moving back to Tennessee in 1988 from California where her and Boyd lived for 32 years; they both retired and spent many years appreciating life and each other. Louise was a generous individual who loved family and friends; she never met a stranger. Louise loved people and was passionate about caring for others. If she wasn’t cleaning her already spotless house she was helping to clean her neighbor’s or cooking dinner for a friend. A funeral is scheduled for December 05 11am-1pm at Miller’s Funeral Home 915 W Broadway Ave, Maryville, TN 37801, with the burial service to follow 2:30pm at Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 2217 Big Gully Rd. Greenback, TN 37742. Pastor Timothy Townsend will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate a journey home; not a death. Condolences can be sent to mcasillas0917@yahoo.com.
