(January 17, 1938 - December 16, 2014) Edward “Bud” Caldwell, age 76, of Del Rio, passed away Tuesday December 16, 2014 at the Johnson City Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, Caney and Georgia Caldwell, son Edward “Pudgy” Caldwell Jr., brothers, Kenneth and Burlin Caldwell. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Elizabeth Caldwell, of Del Rio, sons, Randy Caldwell and Jackie (Dorothy) Caldwell of Del Rio, daughter-in-law Sherry (Buford) Hayes of Del Rio, sisters, Helen Hance, of Newport; Ethel Ellison of Del Rio; grandchildren, Jeramy (Cortnee) Caldwell of Lenoir City, Crystal (Ronnie) Jones of Del Rio, Caney Caldwell, Allie Caldwell, Mary Caldwell, Cheyenne Caldwell and Kristin Turner all of Del Rio; and Chris McFalls of Middle, TN; great-grandchildren, Brandi Bryson, Jacey, Nate, Maddie and Emmi ; also several nieces, nephews, special friends and family. The family will receive friends 5-8 pm Friday, December 19, 2014 with funeral services following at 8:00 pm in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Dennis Caldwell and Rev. Winford French officiating. Burial will be held 11:00 am Saturday, December 20, 2014 in Mt. Zion Ebenezer Cemetery in Del Rio.
