Member of Knoxville Primitive Baptist and retired from the University of Tennessee Maintenance Department. Preceded in death by daughter-in-law, Pat West . Survivors: loving and devoted wife of 60 years, Betty Burnett West two sons, G. Ray West and wife Diana and J. Stanley West two grandsons, Michael R. West and wife Tiffiny, Richard T. West and wife Kimberly two step-grandsons, J. Gavin Mabe and wife Kelli, and Ryan B. Mabe five great-grandchildren, Ashley, Thomas, Brittany, Zachary and Nicholas West many devoted brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family to help defray medical and funeral expenses c/o K-25 Credit Union. Funeral services will be held Monday evening at 8 P.M. at Berry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eugene Wilder officiating. Family and friends will meet Tuesday at 11 am at Bakers Cemetery for graveside services. Family will receive friends 6-8 PM Monday in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
