Mary McMahan Ottinger, age 81, of Parrottsville, went to be with the Lord, on May 27, 2010 at her home. She was a fantastic wife, mother and grandmother, who will be missed. She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam McMahan and Maude McMahan Cogdill; brothers, Geoffrie and Sam McMahan; and sister, Pat Ottinger. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Trent Ottinger of Parrottsville; son, Robert Trent Ottinger, Jr. and wife Peggy of Parrottsville; daughters, Malinda Ottinger Kelley of Dandridge, Diane Cashen and husband Ronnie of Parrottsville; brother and sister in law, Clarence and Katherine McMahan of Maryville, grandchildren, Dr. Candi Overholt and husband Dan, Brandi Dellinger and husband, Jeff, Robbie Ottinger and Heather Ottinger; great grandchildren, Jayden and Alayna Overholt, all of Parrottsville also several nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Funeral services will be held 8:00 pm Saturday, May 29, 2010 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Jack Wilder officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Saturday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral services. Burial will be 2:00 pm Sunday, May 30, 2010 in Salem Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Salem Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund, 3001 Salem Road, Parrottsville, TN 37843.
