SEVIERVILLE —
J.E. “Peanut” Fox, age 88, of Maryville, died Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Blount Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Fox served honorably in the U.S. Army during World War II, receiving a Purple Heart.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Hattie Fox.
Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law, June and Tom Pryor; brother-in-law, Bob Tipton; son, Jimmy Fox Harrell; daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Jack Arwood; daughter, Janet Fox Harrell; grandchildren, Richie, Rusty, & Kari Rose and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service is 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at East Tennessee Veteran’s Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Suttles officiating. Friends may call at their convenience on Monday and Tuesday from 10 a.m., until 6 p.m. to Dotson Funeral Home.
