Trula Norris, 82, of Newport, passed away Wednesday night at the Baptist Hospital of Cocke County following a lengthy illness. She is survived by her sons, Orten Norris and his wife, Betty, and Crayton Norris and his wife, Linda, all of Cosby; her daughter, Charlotte Norris of Cosby; 22 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Frank Bell ofÞciating. Interment will be in the Stinnett Cemetery. The family received friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday.
