Mike unexpectedly went to be with our Lord on November 2, 2014. He will be deeply missed by everyone. Mike attended Valley View Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father Jack Cureton, mother Aileen (Mandy) Cureton, sister Debra R. Crowley, grandparents Walter and Zelma Cagle and Walter and Tessie Cureton, uncles Oris (Short) Cagle and Carl Cagle; aunts Marie Holt, Marie Cagle, Mary Pruitt, Margie (Cureton) Peacock; nephews Jerry (Lil Man) Cureton and Brandon Cureton, and father-in-law Wayne Miller.
He is survived by his wife Rose Miller Cureton, daughters Melissa Cureton, Nashville; Holli Ballard, Dandridge; son Michael Dustin Cureton, Morristown; grandchildren Brodie and Dusti Cureton, Jamie and Lili Ballard; brothers Jerry Cureton, Georgia; Carl Cureton, Newport ; sisters Cathy D. Cureton and Charlene Allen, both of Newport ; stepmother Maudy Reece; uncles and aunts Jim and Betty Cureton, Kenneth and Jean Cureton, and Bill and Jean Guinn; mother-in-law Mable Lee Miller; brothers-in-law J. B., Terry, Wendell, Darren, Norman, Eric, and Brian Miller; sisters-in-law Aundra Burgess, Darlene Miller, Elizabeth Rollins, and Angela Lamar; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and numerous friends.
A veteran's memorial service will be held at Westend Bible Tabernacle on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014, at 5:00 p.m. with Dr. Earl Campbell, Pastor Rick Foust, and a speaker from Valley View Baptist Church officiating.
In lieu of flowers, Mr. Cureton's children ask that donations be made to Westend Bible Tabernacle or to a charity of your choice.
Mr. Cureton was cremated.
