She is survived by five daughters, Cecile McCarter of Cumberland, Margie Simon of Wisconsin, Muriel Sorensen of South Carolina, Joyce Donner of Chesterfield, and Maxine Cable of Cartersville; two sons, Shirl Ownby of Richmond and Guthrie Ownby of Richmond; two sisters, Alice Watson of Tennessee and Muriel Lindset of Montana; one brother Lloyd Huskey of Tennessee; 16 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. Remains rest at the Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn, where services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m., with intermet in Jones Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
