MONROE CITY - Jeffery Bryan (Norm) Ogle II, 26, of the Huntington Community near Monroe City, died at 10:36 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2001, at the University of Missouri Medical Center in Columbia, as the result of injuries sustained in a car accident on Sept. 29, 2001, on Route J in Ralls County.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 19, at the Garner Funeral Chapel in Monroe City. The Rev. Tom Day will officiate. Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Ogle was born Sept. 24, 1975, in Hannibal to Jeffery Bryan Sr. and Ginger Rae Arnold Ogle.
Survivors include his parents of rural Monroe City; one brother, Jordon Ross Ogle of rural Monroe City; one sister, Jennifer Brook Brown of Hannibal; maternal grandparents, Richard and Fern Arnold of Stoutsville; paternal grandparents, Bernard and Reva Ogle of Monroe City; and his maternal great-grandmother, Barbara Arnold of Hannibal.
The family wishes to include as survivors, one brother-in-law, Keith Brown of Hannibal; one nephew, Hayden Michael Brown of Hannibal; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mr. Ogle graduated from Monroe City RI High School with the class of 1994 where he was an avid football player and weight lifter for the Monroe City Panthers. He was a tool and diemaker for Intermet of Monroe City. In his spare time he enjoyed visiting with family and friends and working out with weights.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Ogle, Alan Quinn, Brad Pfanner, Lee Kendrick, Darren Hardwich, Keith Brown, Greg Ogle and D. Greg Ogle.
Honorary pallbearers will be Gary McIntyre, Brandon Griffen, Darren Kendrick, Tim Mudd, Jordon Ogle and J.L. Shuck.
