Donald "Donnie" R. Smith, Sr. age 70 of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at University of Tennessee Medical Center. He was a member of Central Baptist Church and Owner of Don Smith Paint & Body Shop for over 50 years. Preceded in death by: Parents, Howard & Lela Mae Smith; Brothers, Junior Smith and Frank Smith; Sister, Edna Ruth Millsaps. Survivors include: Wife of 46 years, Mary Burger Smith; Sons and Daughters-in-law, Donald Ray Jr. (Pudge) & Patti Smith of Greenback and Jeff & Tammie Smith of Maryville; Daughters, Sherry P. Breeden of Maryville and Kathy Smith of Louisville; Grandchildren, Rebecca Pack, Trey Smith, Nathan Smith, Brittany Smith, Justin Smith, Austin Fletcher, Jordan and Lindsay Garner; Great-Grandson, Nathan Beeler; Brothers and Sisters-in-law, Charles & Marion Smith, Oscar & JoAnn Smith all of Friendsville and Wayne & Martha Lowe; Sisters, Anna Lou Bradley of Louisville, Lela Mae Bozeman of Maryville, Norma Jean Millsaps of Friendsville; Special friend, Reed Morgan; Several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 7:30 PM, Friday, June 20, 2008 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. George Gilbert, Rev. Mike Parker, and Rev. Jim Beasley officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 21, 2008 at Grandview Cemetery for the interment.
