Lena Patty Russell, age 83, of Maryville, died Saturday October 2nd 2004, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband James W. (Doc) Russell. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Marcy and Hubert McKee, Judy and Bill Dunlap and daughter Cheryl Bales; grandchildren, Richard and Donna Simerly, Hugh and Diane Kelso, Kenny and Sherri Tipton, Rick and Tammy Bales, Debbie and Johnny Mishoe, Allison and Shaun Roberts; great-grandchildren, Chris Bales, Melissa Simerly, Shannon Simerly, Andrew Simerly, Rachel Kelso, and Taylor Turner; step-grandchildren, Lisa Reeves and Gae Emert ; step-great-grandchildren, Landon Reeves and Alyssa and Cailee Emert ; sister. Idell Pace; and sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Sam Heaton. The funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott White officiating. The interment will be at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
