(September 23, 1935 - August 28, 2014) Donald Hall, age 78, Hartford, passed away early Thursday morning of the 28th day of August 2014. He passed away at home surrounded by his loving family. Donald was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a very hardworking, loving man and was very well-liked among his family and friends. He will be sorely missed by all. He was preceded in death his parents, Oscar and Bonnie Hall of Hartford, brother Fred Hall of Hartford, and sisters Georgia Mallory, Judith Ellison, and Eula Mooneyham. He survived by his wife Geraldine Hall, children Ricky Hall of Morristown, Kim Flannery of Gatlinburg, and Scott (Karen) Hall. Grandchildren: Mason Flannery and Emily Hall, brother David (Judy) Hall of Newport and sisters Shirley Ford, Wanda Sue (Irvin) Woody, Linda Jane all of Hartford, Mary Joe (Dolmin) Mooneyham of Hickory, NC. The family will receive friends at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Grassy Fork from 12-2pm on Saturday, August 30, 2014 prior to funeral service at 2pm with Pastor William Tinker Clark officiating.
