Lucile McMahan Watson, age 93 of Sevierville, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2015. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Sevierville. Ms. Watson was previously employed at Remac Drive-In and Kentucky Fried Chicken in Pigeon Forge.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Nancy King McMahan; husband, Ray Watson, Sr.; sons, Doyle and Ronnie Watson; brothers, Clyde, Ray and Eugene McMahan; sister, Nina Smelcer; and special friend, Charlie Ogle.
She is survived by her son, Ray Watson, Jr. and wife Madge; granddaughter, Jamie (Mike) Brackins; great-grandson, Cooper Brackins; brothers, Howard (Pauline) McMahan, Charlie (Lillie Mae) McMahan, J.L. (Jerri) McMahan; sister-in-law, Louise McMahan; sister, Bonnie Whaley; and a host of nieces and nephews and friends and residents of the nursing home. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the management and loving staff of Fort Sanders Sevier Nursing Home.
The family will receive friends 12 noon-2 PM Saturday with funeral service to follow at 2 PM in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. Rev. Jerry Hyder and Rev. Ed Parton will officiate. Interment will follow in Shiloh Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.atchleyfuneralhome.com
