He was a builder and served in the CCC, and worked as the superintendent of the public works department in the City of Holmes Beach Florida. He was an active member of Kiwanis Club and Vice Commander of the Coast Guard Auxiliary. Preceded in death by his parents, Edmund and Mabel Jacob Haverkos, and sister Marge Hartman. Survivors: Wife of 67 years: Roselyn M.
