" Granny " Gregory , age 86 , of Lynchburg , Ohio, passed away Tuesday afternoon, March 13, 2012, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born April 17, 1925, in Townsend, the daughter of the late Shannon and Katherine (Dunn) Davis. She had attended the Cuba Friends Church. She is survived by four sons, David Gregory and his wife Dorothy of Lynchburg , Vernon Gregory and his wife Vickie of Wilmington, Ohio, Jeff Gregory and his wife Sharon of Lynchburg , Harry "Bodie" Gregory of Cuba, Ohio; three daughters, Joan Williams and her husband Jim of Cuba, Linda Gregory of Lynchburg , Debbie Ison and her husband Bill of Hillsboro, Ohio; 18 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Charlie Davis of Minnesota. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, George L. Gregory , on April 10, 1973; a great-grandson, Cody Massey; five brothers, Hurst, Josh, Clay, Michael and George Davis; and three sisters, Colleen Davis, Rose Gregory and Bertha Butler. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2012, at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg . Rev. Doug Haag and Rev. Francis Parks will officiate. Burial will follow in the Martinsville I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
