FORD , ROBERT HENRY - age 77 of South Knoxville, passed away Friday, June 6, 2003 at St. Mary's Hospital. Member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. He served in the United States Navy during World War II and was retired from BellSouth with 38 years of service. Preceded in death by mother and father, Lorainne and Henry Ford brother, Harold M. Ford and step mother, Thelma Berry Ford . Survived by wife, Lois Pridemore Ford son, David W. Ford and wife, Pat Stokes Ford grandsons, David W. Ford , II of Kennewick, Wash. and James M. Ford of Kennewick, Wash. great grandson of Kennewick, Wash., Hunter Ethan Ford brothers, Ralph L. Ford , Phillip P. Ford and wife, Janie sister in law, Marion R. Ford of Knoxville first cousins, Mildred Smith of Athens, Tenn., Mary Lou Harless of Corryton, Tenn. and Kathryn Smith of Knoxville several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. on Monday, Berry Chapel with Rev. Deron Cobb and Rev. R.C. Harless officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, full military honors provided by East Tennessee Veterans Honor Guard.
