Baxter , 76, died Monday June 8, 2004 at her residence in Muncie, Indiana. She graduated from Everett High School and attended Knoxville Business College. A member of Shawnee Heights Baptist Church in Muncie. She was preceded in death by parents, Jewell and Nellie Teffeteller Copeland ; brothers, Max F. and Arnold Copeland . Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Paul T. Baxter ; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jewell and Vivian Copeland , Jr. of Houston, TX. and Norman and Nora Copeland of Muncie, IN; sisters, Jeanette Baker of Greenback, Margaret Cooper of Apex, NC., and Patricia Hembree of Maryville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Francis and Frank Yarnell, and Carolyn Nell and Lew Lang all of Maryville; many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday June 12, 2004 at Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Rodney Harden officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
