MALACH , JUDY KAYE HAMLEY - age 58 Passed away suddenly at her home in Louisville, TN on Friday March 24, 2006. Judy was a native of Halls. She was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church. She graduated from Halls High School and went on to become a chemical engineer at Y-12. She wrote poetry, was an avid reader and was always found with a book in her hand. She was devoted to her family and was loved by all. She became disabled from an automobile accident in 1985 and was essentially homebound after that. She was preceded in death by her mother Hallie Monroe Hamley and her brother Jack Allen Hamley Jr. She is survived by her husband of 32 years Philip G. Malach daughter and son in law Dixie and Sam Wicker son and daughter in law Russell and Beth Malach grandsons Johnathan and Samuel and granddaughter Erica all of Maryville father Jack Hamley sisters Carol Hamley and Teresa Allen of Halls sister in law and brother in law Kay and Kenneth Webb sisters in law Della and Donna Malach , Brother in law Jerry Malach all of Louisville brother in law Gilbert Malach of Alabama. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends to mourn her passing. A Mass will be held 6 PM Monday at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Alcoa, TN. Father Alexander Waraksa officiating. A memorial service will be held 8 PM Tuesday at Mynatt's Halls Chapel, Dr Charles Earl Officiating. Judy requests in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Patricia Neal Rehabilitation Center, 1901 Clinch Ave, Knoxville, TN 37916. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
