• Notes

  They lived on the old Alexander Montgomery estate in Sevier County, Tennessee and raised a large family. He was a Captain in a Union Calvary company during the Civil War, and was recommended for promotion to Major by his commanding officer, Col. Jo Parsons of the 9th Regiment of Tennessee Calvary on 21 September 1963.
