SWANSON , GLENN BRYANT - age 62, of Knoxville, passed away at his home Thursday, August 9, 2001 from complications of cancer. Glenn was retired from Bell South and had served in the United States Army Signal Corp. He was preceded in death by his parents, O. Dee and Louise Swanson of Chatsworth, Ga. and his brother, William Swanson of New York. Survived by wife of 42 years, Ina Ray Clark Swanson ; sons and daughter in law, Anthony Bryant Swanson , James Edward and Amanda Kathryn Swanson ; grandsons, Jared Patrick and Andrew Michael Swanson ; brothers and sister in law, Bob Swanson of Chatsworth, Ga., Ronald and Faye Swanson of Dawsonville, Ga.; sisters in law, and brothers in law, Mary E. Lee, Mike Wood, Lois Clark, Sam and Janet Price, and R. Edward Clark, all of Knoxville; many beautiful nieces and nephews. Graveside and interment service will be held in Chatsworth, Ga. with Rev. Danny Cochran officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday 5-7 p.m. at Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel.
