Florence R. Stuart, age 64, of Newport, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2014 at her home surround by her family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jerry Stuart; father, Otis Roberts; mother, Nellie Roberts; and brother James Roberts. She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Norma and Robert Hartsell; Jerrie and Jimmy Davis; sister, Gladys Roberts; brothers Ralf, Rufus and Gene Roberts; special granddaughter, Jessica Taylor and fiancé Bo Morie and great-granddaughter Harlee Jade Taylor of the home; granddaughters, Sammantha Hartsell, Heather, Hali, and Kendra Davis; great-grandchildren; Marley Hartsell, Noah, Gabby and Kaylyn Davis; and a host of nieces, nephews and many friends. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Wednesday, July 9, 2014 with funeral services following at 7:00 pm with Rev. Ransom Hall officiating.
