MUNSEY, BARBARA (SUE) GIVENS passed away April 30, 2011 at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center while surrounded by her family. A member of Loveland Baptist Church, Sue was a special wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend with a sweet loving spirit that was cherished by all that knew her. She is preceded in death by parents, John and Irene Givens ; brothers, Johnny Givens , Roy Givens , Ray Givens , Ellis ( Buzzy ) Givens ; and her youngest son, Johnny T. Munsey, Jr. Survivors include her spouse of 54 years, John T. Munsey, Sr.; son, Kenny Munsey and wife Robin; daughter, Pam Blackburn and husband Oliver; five grandchildren who adored their "Mammie", Heather Blackburn, Ashley Blackburn, Aaron Munsey, Kendra Munsey and Mason Munsey; great grandchildren, Hayden and Summer Munsey; brother, Bud (Polly) Givens ; sisters, Ruby McGill and Bobbie Moore. The funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m.. Tuesday in the chapel of Bridges Funeral Home with Rev. Oliver Wolfenbarger and Rev. Charlie Lynch officiating. Family and friends will meet at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday at Bridges Funeral Home and proceed to Roseberry Cemetery for the interment at 1:00 p.m. Active pallbearers: Doug Needham, Aaron Munsey, Scott Givens , Doug Johnson, Bradley Beeler and Billy Young.
