Jacqueline Ray Breeden Dockery, (69), beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend went to be with the Lord on August 18, 2016, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. As a CNA she served the elderly and disabled with love and compassion for over 30 years before retiring in 2013. Jackie embraced life with courage strength and zeal. She was a faithful member of Chestnut Hill United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Jack and Geneva Ray; sisters, Audrey Jean Harris and Susan Ray. Jackie leaves behind her loving husband Neil Dockery, devoted children, Rodney Breeden (Carmen), Jean-Ann Washam (Shannon) and Lisa Breeden (Hope),stepsons, Ronald and Terry Dockery, her six grandchildren Dalen, Emma, Seth, Heeth, Dominic, Chad and great grandson Waylon all whom she adored, sister Kathy Sorrell (Gary), of whom she loved and cherished, special friend Gail Sutton, several nieces and nephews. Friends and family were such an important part of Jackie’s life and she will be greatly missed by those who loved her so much. Funeral services will be held 7:00 pm Saturday, August 20, 2016 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Shannon Washam and Rev. Terry Ottinger officiating. Burial will be held 11:00 am Sunday August 21, 2016 in the Wilson Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm -7:00 pm Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral services. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Appalachian Outreach, P.O. Box CNU 71904, Jefferson City, Tennessee 37760 or Chestnut Hill United Methodist Church, 2416 Chestnut Hill Church Road, Dandridge, Tennessee 37725.
