Our Mother's special gift was offering unconditional love and support to our family and anyone in need. She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Stephen Brown; son-in-law, Johnny Rauhuff; parents, James Caswell Russell and Ida Katherine Russell; sisters, Cora Miller, Flora Warren, Rosa Hixson, Vera Cunningham; brothers, Preston, Garfield, Rudolph, Jack, J.D. Manning Russell. Linnie is survived by daughters, Brenda (Virgil) Avans, Eugenia Rauhuff; son, O.J. (Hazel) Brown; former husband and father of her children, Austin Brown; grandchildren, Brad (Hope) Avans, Chris (Kimberly) Avans, Missy Ward, Keith (Elisha) Brown, Tessa Brown, Russell Brown, Kerri Brown, John (Leigh) Rauhuff; 12 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and special friend and neighbor Louise Moore. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Harry W.
