Brown, Linnie Kate Russell, age 86, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 16, 2014. She attended and supported St. Andrews United Methodist Church. Our Mother's special gift was offering unconditional love and support to our family and anyone in need. She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Stephen Brown; son-in-law, Johnny Rauhuff; parents, James Caswell Russell and Ida Katherine Russell; sisters, Cora Miller, Flora Warren, Rosa Hixson, Vera Cunningham; brothers, Preston, Garfield, Rudolph, Jack, J.D. Manning Russell. Linnie is survived by daughters, Brenda (Virgil) Avans, Eugenia Rauhuff; son, O.J. (Hazel) Brown; former husband and father of her children, Austin Brown; grandchildren, Brad (Hope) Avans, Chris (Kimberly) Avans, Missy Ward, Keith (Elisha) Brown, Tessa Brown, Russell Brown, Kerri Brown, John (Leigh) Rauhuff; 12 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and special friend and neighbor Louise Moore. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Harry W. Rehagen officiating. Family and friends will meet at Woodlawn Cemetery on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. for the interment services. Condolences may be offered at www.berryfuneralhome.com
