He was also preceded in death by a brother.Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Mary F. Owens; sons and daughters-in-law, Charles Edward and Kathy Owens, Glen Dale and Pat Owens, Johnny Lee and Mary Owens and Allen Curtis Owens; stepsons and daughters-in-law, John Daniel and Tina Owens, Jimmy Lee and Brenda Owens, Leslie Owens, Ellen Owens; brothers and sisters-in-law, James Wave and Wilma Owens, Sammy and Rosemary Owens; sisters, Pauline McMahan and Clara Hardin; 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6 at Williams Falls Church of God, where Mr. Owens was a member.Arrangements by Cremation Options, Inc., 693-2273.
