MILLSAPS , JAMES E., SR. age 88 of the Liberality Community, Madisonville, passed away 4:15 a.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at the home of his daughter, Mary Jones in Athens. He was a well known Monroe County farmer. Survivors: daughters and sons-in-law, Billie and Bud Kiser, Bobbie and Paul Bentley, all of Madisonville; Mary Jones, Athens; Wanda and Clarence Hawkins, Madisonville; Judy and Steve Smith, Athens; Janie Millsaps , Madisonville; Nancy Littleton, Titusville, FL; Maxine Maxwell, Madisonville; Karen Puett, Knoxville; sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy Millsaps ; Arthur and Judy Millsaps ; Randy and Freeda Millsaps ; Donnie Millsaps , all of Madisonville; 29 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Lois Carter, Maryville; Mary Jennings, Alcoa; brother, Mack Millsaps , Minn.; several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by: wife, Margie Millsaps ; grandsons, David Franklin, Shawn Clark; great granddaughter, Madison Millsaps ; parents, James Elijah and Sarah Millsaps ; brothers, Jack, Charles, Ralph, Lloyd and Glenn Millsaps . Funeral 8:00 p.m. Thursday, Biereley-Hale Chapel, Rev. Burl Harris officiating. Interment 10:00 a.m. Friday, Haven Hill Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
