Anthony “Tony” Satterfield, age 47, passed away May 21, 2014 after a short illness. He attended Ruggles Ferry Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father Delbert Satterfield. He is survived by his son Tyler Satterfield, former wife Sandy Satterfield, mother Nancy Satterfield Covington, step-father Burl Covington, brother Mike Satterfield and wife Becky, niece Lindsey Cox and husband Freddie, great niece Lily Cox, step-brothers Jimmy Covington and wife Anne, Melvin Covington and wife Myrna, and Chris Covington and wife Cathy, step-sisters Charlotte Simmons and husband Larry, Regina Lewellyn and husband Jack and several step nieces and step nephews. A special thanks to employees to Lee HI Lawn Care and Ed Loy. Funeral Service will be 8 PM Friday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with Rev. Charles Whitson officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1:45 PM Monday at Asbury Cemetery for an inurnment service at 2 PM. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
