Quillen VA Medical Center at Mountain Home, TN, on Tuesday, May 20, 2014, surrounded by his loving family. He was a veteran having served in the United States Army, 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, NC as a Medic and Paratrooper from 1972-1980. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Ernest and Dorothy Faye (Ball) Jenkins. He is survived by his daughter, Amanda (Michael) Cartrette and grandson Cameron of Climax, NC; sister, Charlene Jenkins Cage of Nashville; brothers, John (Bobbie) Jenkins, Cosby, and Donald (Lisa) Jenkins of Seymour; aunts, Sheila Sapp and Barbara Jenkins; aunt and uncle, Laura Jane and Donald Ball all of Newport; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other family and friends.
